With the ability to support up to 32 simulations/players, POPULACE™ allows you to build a complex MMOG or a simple one-on-one online environment. Enjoy late join capability and a built-in hot key chat feature for effective in-game communication. Make a model or entity visible to the other game players by replacing calls to "ent_create" with calls to the multiplayer function "MultiplayerEntityCreate" - Any changes to an entity are instantly transmitted to all game players! Add models/entities that are created in Conitec's 3D Gamestudio WED by making calls to "RegisterWED_Entity" or "RegisterAllWED_Entities". Track any entity property, (including skills) making your game's transition to a multiplayer game easy. POPULACE™ allows you to send any C-Script global variable, at anytime, to any or all players. Send chat and taunt messages easily via "SendChatMessage" - send to individual players, all players or any team! With POPULACE™ you can re-synchronize your player with the game server by making just one function call. Customize multiplayer function behavior from within C-Script through callback mechanisms.

Platforms: Windows 98 SE / ME / 2000 / XP and DirectX 9.0c or above.
The activation process requires a unique Product Key upon installing the software on a PC. Users will be required to enter the Product Key during installation. The Product Key (as well as a link to download the product) will be contained in the e-mail receipt confirming successful purchase.

During installation, the installer will request the Product Key that was supplied in the confirmation email. Manual entry of the product key is required. The installer will securely verify that the Product Key is valid via the internet and allow the installation to proceed. The product can not be installed and validated without an active connection to the internet. Upon receiving this information, East Coast Games, Inc. will automatically activate the product and the process is complete.
