Human Battlefield Commander

The mission calls for a leader… a leader who can avenge those mercilessly slaughtered in the colonies and wage the harshest war the Humans have ever known. The mission requires a skillful commander capable of effectively leading troops into unfamiliar, hostile terrain, against whatever foes are encountered. The mission: exact revenge and seize the only opportunity for survival of the Human race. Given the Earth’s continuing deterioration, failure is not an option.

As the leader of Human forces, the Battlefield Commander is responsible for planning and executing the war against the Ematrants. In the Real Time Strategy mode, the Battlefield Commander will enjoy a commanding, top-down view of both the terrain and forces - friend and foe. The Battlefield Commander will manage his military’s economy, technology and communication, through in-game chat, the strategy and tactics to all his First Person Character team members. When the battle gets particularly intense, the Battlefield Commander can quickly switch to the First Person Character mode and personally inflict damage upon the enemy.

Life, as both species know it, is destined to change. And it’s the Human Battlefield Commander’s responsibility to ensure a new destiny for the Ematrant species – a particularly short one at that.

Commando

This should prove to be both the most challenging and profitable war ever fought and the Commando is the best and most ruthless mercenary money can buy.

Making war is what this First Person Character is primed to do… Armed with a Rapid Fire Gun and Cannon, newly designed to exact the optimum compliment of deadly precision and collateral devastation, the Commando is both mentally and physically equipped to wage a sustained warfare against whatever enemy is encountered. Merciless in the execution of their purpose, the Commando only knows one direction, forward. Trained in survival, stealth, and ruthless precision, the Commando is ready to fight with a team or solo.

Cyborg

Utilized primarily as peacekeepers to quell hotspots around a conflict-laden world, the Cybernetic Humanoids, or Cyborgs, were specifically designed to perform in the harshest and most unpleasant environments humans had encountered. The recently developed Cyborg was developed with enhanced tactical abilities, logistics and infrastructure support.



Psychic

Armed with an ability to channel and manipulate the flow of psychic energies, the Psychic is a fierce and capable force. On multiple occasions she has single-handedly disposed of significant contingents of troops with a single psychic shockwave.

The Humans have a strategy for how to effectively make use of the Psychic in the coming war with the Ematrants: send her to the front lines… and get out of her way.

Light Infantry

What the Humans needed was a mass-produced fighting machine… a specimen uniquely acclimated to the diverse, and sometimes challenging, atmosphere and terrain of other planets. The result of their research was the Human Light Infantry. Their strength lies in both their brute power and their numbers. Programmed to be highly motivated and disciplined the Light Infantry are perfectly suited for battle on the inhospitable planets this war is fought.

Air/Ground Infantry

Kill them and more will come… With an ingrained warrior mentality, these specially bred agents of war seem to crave the intensity, the heightened state of anxiety, and the finality of battle. To the ruthless cloned units of the Air/Ground Infantry, the carnage of war is not only to be expected – it is the thing they live and die for.

Armed with Rocket Launchers, these units view the killing of Ematrants, or any other target for that matter, as simply another enjoyable practice day at the target range. Now that the cloning methodology has been perfected, these anti-vehicle units are in high demand.

Special Infantry/Suicide Clone

Built to effectively traverse the most challenging and dangerous terrain, the Suicide Drone packs an unmistakable message for the unsuspecting target. The highly potent munitions in its payload will readily attest to its effectiveness. Make no mistake, when this mobile bomb rolls in, massive destruction can’t be far behind…

Developed to easily maneuver and deliver the maximum degree of collateral damage once its target is encountered, the Ematrants shouldn’t be shocked to suddenly see their stronghold defenses disintegrate before their eyes.

Droid Worker – Game Play

Droids Workers are utilized by the Humans for collection of resources and construction of all required structures. Given their primary roles of construction and resource gathering, the Droid Worker will not automatically attack an enemy that comes within its range. Instead of a weapon, they are simply given a Soldering Tool.






Human Force Field Generator

Force fields are a critical component of Human defenses. Once researched and built, a Force Field Generator can produce a force field large enough to protect five medium structures. Enemies and their weapons cannot penetrate the force field – yet Humans can move freely in and out of its range. The Force Field Generator requires power to run… from a Power Station that can only function outside of the force field.

Human Clone Lab – Barracks

For numerous reasons, not the least of which were practicality and limited availability of troops, Humans are greatly dependent on their ability to produce sufficient quantities of clones to match the anticipated Ematrant military might on the battlefield. Clone Labs are solely responsible for the production of Light Infantry, Air/Ground Infantry and Suicide Drones (once they have been researched at the Advanced Weapons Facility). Without appropriately planned, constructed and protected Clone Labs, the Humans know the whole mission, and thus their very survival, would lie in much greater doubt.

Human Ground Weapons Factory

The Ground Weapons Factory is one of the larger Human facilities – responsible for the production of both the Battle Mechs and Long Range Artillery.

Human Weapons Research Station

For Humans attempting to overcome unfamiliar conditions on an unfamiliar planet, research of weaponry and related structures is vital. This makes the Weapons Research Station strategically important for any successful military plan as Heavy Battle Mechs, Suicide Drones and Troop Transporters must be researched there before being built and deployed.

Human Aircraft Factory

The Humans fully expect that on Saturn 5, much as is the case on Earth – nothing demoralizes the enemy like the devastation after a massive air campaign. Once the Aircraft Factory is completed and appropriately powered, it’s clear that the Bombers, Fighter/Bombers and Troop Transporters produced there could have a telling effect on the dynamics of every other phase of battle.

Human Power Station

While most structures deployed by the Humans have internal power sources, two critical structures, Defense Towers and Force Field Generators are dependent on external power provided by the Power Station. Given the significant amount of energy required to power these structures, internal power sources simply aren’t up to the task. A thirty unit capacity is produced by each functioning Power Station.

Human Bio-Habitat

Bio-Habitats provide housing for clones – offering shelter from the elements and a temporary respite from the grueling war. Generally speaking, the maximum size of a clone force can be appropriately determined by the number of Bio-Habitats constructed – as each Bio-Habitat supports up to ten units.

Human Defense Turret

To bolster defenses for high value bases, Humans can deploy Defense Turrets. These Defense Turrets, with their massive gatling cannons– can provide excellent anti-ground and anti-air defense.

Human Main Base

The largest and most distinct of all Human structures, the Main Base is the initial staging structure for all invasions – as well as a friendly, well protected foothill on whatever territory is to be conquered. The Main Base must be well protected as it is the origin of all efforts.
