Real Time Strategy (RTS)

Think you have what it takes to lead the battle? Think you have the intellect to face any formidable challenge? Is it because you know you are a natural leader? And as a natural leader, you know you are adept at formulating a winning plan of attack, communicating the critical requirements of the mission and effectively leading an ever changing force of warriors through the haze of a brutal, unpredictable and demanding war. Ultimately, perhaps you know you, and only you, have both the moral fortitude and superior strategic insight to right a grievous wrong. You will have what it takes to lead the battle. You will masterfully acquire the necessary natural resources, build the infrastructure and amass a devastating force, the likes of which your enemy has never seen before – and likely won’t live long enough to see again.

You will defend what is yours to the bitter end. You will skillfully lead your forces against a cunning enemy, but because of your proficient command of your resources, forces and battlefield situations - surely a conquerable one. You will effectively command your forces in a way that robs your opponent of any delusions of victory. You will face the best they have to offer and levy devastation that bears witness to how woefully over matched – and thus, inevitably doomed they are. Because, in the end, the best they have is no match for the best there is – and your species will survive. Note: When you choose to operate in Real Time Strategy mode, in ‘Spoils of War’ known as the Battlefield Commander - among other capabilities, you will have the
ability to;

• Manage the team’s economy and technology, and communicate strategy to fellow team mates who are engaging in in-depth and fast-paced warfare
• Communicate through in-game chat, place structures, and control forces from a top-down view that zooms, and moves for ultimate tactical awareness

First-Person Shooter (FPS)

Perhaps instead, you are someone who prides yourself on taking action… someone who is always ready to jump into the middle of the battle, look your enemy straight in the eyes, be ready to dodge and/or absorb any punishment that he might levy on you – because you know that in the end you will not only take the solitary unfortunate soul directly in your path… you will destroy everyone he brought with him. You will be the single most important element in conquering the enemy. You will attack in close range, demolish those who would oppose you, acquire the necessary resources, manage the depletion of your own resources and ensure that your skills will secure victory against those who would otherwise do you in.

With precision and a lack of concern for those left in your wake, you will engage your ruthless, unscrupulous enemy… an enemy who would just as soon extinguish the lives of you, and your loved ones – as they would exhale a slight breath from their unnaturally mutated bodies. Do you have the will and determination it takes to fearlessly defend what is yours – and forcefully seize the ‘Spoils of War’? Then prepare, because we have got a game on the way for you…

Note: When you choose to operate in a First-Person Shooter mode, in ‘Spoils of War’ as one of three First-Person Characters, among other capabilities, you will have the
ability to;

• Act in conjunction with the team and, as required, independently
• Commandeer vehicles
• Grow your character through experience
• And generally wreak havoc in an intense warfare situation

In ‘SoW’, First-Person Characters move with speed and strength. And whenever a vehicle is commandeered, your viewing perspective automatically shifts to that of the occupied vehicle.

Are You Ready For Both…

Finally, perhaps you are someone who craves the best of both worlds. Perhaps you have the confidence to expect you can, and will, successfully secure skillful and merciless victory against your enemy, whether the game genre is RTS and FPS. Suppose you are someone who is competent, capable and intelligent enough to command forces - to identify, plan and secure the necessary obtainment of natural resources, people and structures necessary for success to be yours. Suppose however, you are also someone that, when the going gets tough… when the fight gets particularly nasty – you would just as soon take matters in your own hands. The great news is… thanks to East Coast Games; you no longer have to choose.

Whenever necessary, in other words whenever the mood strikes, you can easily toggle from RTS mode into a FPS mode, giving you the opportunity to both execute key elements of your plan - and exact a personally satisfying offering of demoralizing devastation in the process. In this mode, you will be able to evaluate the unparalleled effectiveness of your strategy from a new perspective - eye to eye with your despised foe. In this mode, you will redeploy your cunningness, ingenuity and adaptability to fight, demolish and destroy - personally snatching any notion of victory, or continued existence from a worthless race that so justly deserves the extermination to come.

Are you someone able to effectively use your intellect to plan, strategize and organize – but also, when required, capable of taking matters in your own hands – and showing your enemy what is meant by the phrase ‘utter devastation’? Are you ready to secure victory by whatever means necessary? Then, without a doubt, you are ready to experience ‘Spoils of War’.

Note: As Battlefield Commander you will have the ability to;

• Be the all-seeing, all-knowing leader with the ability to toggle between top-down and first person views
• Whenever your forces need assistance, switch to a first-person view and engage the enemy with all the same abilities of ground forces
• Take greater control over your team’s ultimate destiny
